1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SheetGenie ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. SheetGenie is operated by Pavan Bollapragada ("we", "us", "our"), registered in India.
2. Description of Service
SheetGenie is an AI-powered educational platform for children from Nursery through Grade 12. The Service provides interactive learning labs, AI-generated study material, spelling practice, exam preparation tools, practice worksheets, reading passages, and related educational content for CBSE, ICSE and Cambridge syllabi.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. Each subscription covers one family's use only and may not be shared outside the household.
4. Subscription and Payment
SheetGenie offers a 14-day free trial followed by a paid subscription. Current pricing: ₹299/month or ₹1,999/year (all children in the family included). Payment is processed securely through Razorpay. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership
All content on SheetGenie — including but not limited to study material, learning lab content, worksheets, exam papers, reading passages, animations, curriculum structures, and AI-generated explanations — is the proprietary intellectual property of SheetGenie and is protected under applicable Indian and international copyright law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal licence to access and use SheetGenie content solely for your family's private, non-commercial educational purposes within the platform.
The following acts are expressly prohibited and constitute a violation of these Terms and applicable copyright law:
- Reproducing, copying, downloading, or storing any SheetGenie content outside the platform
- Distributing, selling, licensing, sublicensing, or sharing SheetGenie content with any third party
- Using automated tools, bots, crawlers, scrapers, headless browsers, or any software to systematically access, extract, copy, or index SheetGenie content
- Using browser developer tools, DOM inspection, network interception, or similar techniques to extract content in bulk
- Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with any technical protection measures applied to SheetGenie content
- Reproducing SheetGenie content for use in any competing product, AI training dataset, or commercial offering
- Creating derivative works based on SheetGenie content without express written permission
SheetGenie employs technical measures including rate limiting, session-based access controls, user watermarking, and activity logging. Each content delivery is uniquely marked with a user fingerprint. Unauthorised extraction will be traceable to the account used and may result in immediate account termination, legal action, and claims for damages.
AI-generated content is original and created for SheetGenie. Textbook and board names (CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge, NCERT) are referenced solely for curriculum alignment purposes. SheetGenie is not affiliated with any publisher, board, or government body.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or any part of the system you are not authorised to access
- Overload, disrupt, or degrade the Service through automated or excessive requests
- Introduce malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Use the Service to train, fine-tune, or develop any AI or machine learning model
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
7. Children's Privacy
SheetGenie is designed for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Parents are responsible for supervising their child's use of the platform. Child profiles store only a name, grade, and learning progress — no personal contact details are stored for child profiles.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, including but not limited to any violation of Section 5 (content extraction) or Section 6 (acceptable use). Termination does not entitle you to any refund.
9. Disclaimer
SheetGenie is an independent learning platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NCERT, CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge Assessment, or any government body. AI-generated content is for educational practice and may not perfectly match every school's specific curriculum or examination requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
SheetGenie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the preceding 30 days.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
